How Parivar Circle works, what is allowed, and how to get support

Community posting quota

Each member can share up to 5 text posts, 5 images, and 5 live streams to the Parivar Madh community space per day. This keeps the shared space calm and thoughtful for everyone. The quota resets at midnight every day.

Private chats and voice/video calls are completely unlimited and are never counted against this quota.

Private chats and calls

One-to-one chats, voice calls, and video calls are private between the two members. No one else — including family admins — can read your private messages. Calls use encrypted peer-to-peer connections.

You need a personal @username to start a new chat. Your @username is only shared with people you choose to chat with.

Personal @username

Your personal @username is separate from your family tree identity. It is used only for private chats and is never shown to the whole family. You can claim it from the New Chat screen. Usernames must be 3–32 characters, letters, digits, and underscores only.

Once claimed, your @username cannot be changed. Choose carefully.

Consent and privacy

Before anyone can send you messages, calls, media, or share your location, you must accept their connection request. You can decline or block any request. Blocked members cannot contact you again.

We never share your private data, family tree, or contact details with anyone outside your family circle.

Family admin role

The family admin manages members, events, moderation, and safety settings. Admin-only sections are clearly marked. If you believe you need admin access, contact your current family admin.

Admin rights can only be transferred by the current admin from the Transfer page.

Member seats

Your family circle has a limited number of member seats. When all seats are taken, new members cannot join until the admin purchases additional seats from the Billing page.

Seats are priced at ₹15 per place. The admin can add seats at any time.

Moderation

Posts to the Parivar Madh are reviewed by family admins after submission. Most posts are approved quickly. Posts that violate community rules may be removed. Repeated violations may result in posting restrictions.

You will be notified when your post is approved or if it is removed.

Getting help

If you have a question, encounter a problem, or want to report something, use the Support form on the More page. The family admin will respond as soon as possible.

For urgent safety concerns, use the Safety report form in the Admin section.
